Lynn Tyger is the owner and founder of Tyger Travels and was awarded the 2021 award for best travel agent for Italy in the United States by Condé Nast.

Tyger Travels specializes in planning high-end, custom travel experiences.  Every trip is designed as hand-crafted / one-of-a-kind, according to the client’s personal travel style, interests and desires.  With a detailed eye for logistics, a gift for research, and love for hotels, our goal is to make your trip as memorable as possible.  After all, your travel experience should be as unique as you are! 

My travel career started in Italy, where I lived for over two years and traveled the length and breadth of the country. Although my passion is Italy (planning travel there), I’ve had the opportunity to travel to far-flung places of the globe with experience in over 47 countries. From the Impenetrable Forest in Uganda to the Atacama Desert in Chile and in between, I love exploring cobblestone streets and museums as much as remote, hard-to-get-to-destinations. On top of my current wanderlist are off-the-beaten track places such as the sand dunes of Namibia, the forests of Lapland, and the Kamchatka Peninsula. I divide my time between Houston and Waco, Texas, and when not traveling (or planning travel), I enjoy reading about history, sipping champagne with girlfriends over Saturday lunch, and looking at art.
